LAND x Dead Meadow

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

LAND is a non-profit public art initiative committed to curating site- and situation-specific contemporary art projects, in Los Angeles and beyond. 

The October Nomadic Night will take place on Thursday, October 7th from 6:30-9pm at Jonah Freeman's & Justin Lowe's installation, Bright White Underground, at Country Club | LA and will feature a special performance by Dead Meadow.

7pm
Jonah Freeman will reprise his slide lecture about the history of The San San International, the mega-convention that overtakes the southern province of The San San metroplex every May, and his experience as a two-year attendee.

8pm
Performance by neo-psychedelic band Dead Meadow with video accompaniment by Justin Lowe.

Nomadic Nights is a monthly salon-style event in roaming locations throughout Los Angeles. Nomadic Nights reflect the diverse ways in which contemporary artists engage and present visual culture. As a departure from conventional formats, Nomadic Nights invites artists to present work, performances, and ideas that comprise the constellation of influences informing their overall creative practice
